The old Citi 5% gas/grocery/drugstore link is dead, here’s a new one

CITI 5% GGD UPDATE: We’ve written previously about the Citi ThankYou Preferred card that offers 5% back on gas, groceries, and drugstores for the first 12 months. It is a great deal and would be a great addition to your credit card portfolio. However, the link we previously had no longer offers the 5 ThankYou Points per dollar on G/G/D spending. Some creative googling, however, turned up this link. It’s apparently from 2011, but it says 5 TYPs per dollar and goes to an active application link, so it’s worth a shot. Just be sure to take a screenshot of the offer page before you apply so that if there’s a problem after you’re approved, you can send the screenshot to customer service to make sure they give you the appropriate offer.
